Welcome to the Rebel Squadrons headquarters for TIE Fighter, a game made by LucasArts.

The Rebel Squadrons (RS) is an online Star Wars gaming club created to have fun & roleplay in the Star Wars universe. The core of the RS is centered around playing custom missions & multiplayer activities for the collection of LucasArts Star Wars games for personal computer: mainly, the flight sims X-Wing, TIE Fighter, X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter, X-Wing Alliance; the first-person shooters Dark Forces, Jedi Knight, Jedi Outcast, Jedi Academy, Battlefront, and Republic Commando; and the strategy games Force Commander, Rebellion, and Galactic Battlegrounds. Additionally, the RS has large groups for in-character fictional SW writing, simming/roleplaying (using dice), and imaging, as well as scattered other activities.

TIE Fighter activity in the club is centered around flying custom missions. These missions are divided into several categories - a Fleet ITOD (Interactive Tour of Duty), Squadron ITODs, and the Simulators. The Interactive part of the ITOD takes pilots' narratives written after flying each tour mission, and uses them to shape where the story goes.

The Rebel Squadrons lives off of capturing Imperial ships and converting them for use on the Rebels' side. This provides an infiltrator's perspective and the chance to use the Empire's own ships against it.
